In a recent blog post published on Adobe’s site, Meagan Keane, the Senior Product Marketing Manager for Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Prelude, reports that 21 films debuting at this years Sundance Film Festival were edited using Adobe Premiere Pro CC. This would mean a 130% increase if you compare it to last year’s festival!
Adobe will be hosting a panel at the Sundance Film Festival discussing how technology is blurring the lines between indie and Hollywood filmmaking. The panel features Rob Legato (Misery Loves Comedy [Sundance Film Festival 2015], The Wolf of Wall Street, HUGO, AVATAR), Kyle Patrick Alvarez (The Stanford Prison Experiment [Sundance Film Festival 2015], C.O.G. [Sundance Film Festival 2014], Easier with Practice) and Dave Ginsberg (CTO, Sundance Institute).
